My Artistic Journey
I live close to the Somerset levels, near Bristol and had a successful career as an architect, urban designer and masterplanner in the UK and overseas. I retired 10 years ago and now paint everyday.
My work is abstract, related to space and place; the elements that create a place and how space can be defined. I work in three broad areas;

My work is abstract, related to space and place; the elements that create a place and how space can be defined. I work in three broad areas; abstract expressionism; abstraction related to places; and, more recently abstraction related to places and people in my life, which have a strong emotional connections.
My work is constantly evolving as I analyse the patterns, colours and shapes of the world around me to inform my work.
